The Art of Merging Botanicals, Gem Elixirs and Crystals

Hi Crystal Hottie!
I have another special treat for you today: another Crystal Healer Interview. Yay, right?
Personally, it really stokes my passion for crystals to hear from others who are out there “boots on the ground” making a difference for themselves & others through the power of crystals. :)
And I’m so grateful that I have so many lovely Hibiscus Moon Certified Crystal Healerswho’ve decided to generously share their journey with us all here on my blog.
Weeeee, I’m really fired up to introduce you to Hibiscus Moon Advanced Crystal MasterIna Rosales, aka Ina the Herbal Contessa. Ina has also helped us in the past as a Crystal Content Manager for my courses…she’s got super-natural abilities to catch every little detail & make sure it’s all consistent. That’s just 1 of her many super-powers. She’s also a Gem Elixir Guru.
It’s a true honor to share her here with you…

All set? Here’s Ina’s interview…

What brought you to the world of Crystal Healing?

I have always felt a deep connection with nature.
In my early 20’s I had a small organic farm where I sold herbs, flowers and vegetables at my local Farmers’ Market. It was a natural progression to merge the botanicals with the crystals.
I believe in:
“Sacrednicities”; the belief that the universe is conspiring on my behalf to shower me with Blessings
…and that is how I was guided to Hibiscus Moon Crystal Academy.
The rest is crystal-history!

What do others in your life think about the path you are on?

I’m very lucky to have such tremendous support from both my friends and family. I believe more and more people are seeing and experiencing the healing energies of crystals and they are becoming more open to the idea.

What do you love most about working with crystals?

I love how simple yet so profound the results can be working with these beauties from the earth.
They are gentle enough to use everyday and I love to use and see the results on my pets, too.
I adopted a disabled, senior poodle with a neurological disorder that makes her spin. I gave her a Crystal Chakra Balance session that she absolutely loved.
It was the most calm and relaxed that I’ve ever seen her!  I used the following crystals:
  • Clear Quartz
  • Amethyst
  • Blue Lace Agate
  • Rose Quartz
  • Citrine
  • Carnelian
  • Black Tourmaline
  • Hematite

What 3 energy-work or spirituality books are you loving right now?

Flower Essences and Vibrational Healing by Gurudas. I purchased this book about 20 years ago. It never gets old and I love to reread this treasure.
Another great find from 15 years ago that I’m rereading is Aromatherapy and Subtle Energy Techniques by Joni Keim Loughram and Ruah Bull.
…and The Language of Plants- A Guide to the Doctrine of Signatures by Julia Graves.  “This book is an eye-opener, showing us with many examples how to see plants in their entirety, and thus to know their essence.”

What is your go-to crystal for grounding?

I have always loved Hematite (non-magnetic).
After taking Hibiscus Moon Crystal Academy course and learning that Hematite is not only rich in the element (Fe) Iron (an element that I’ve always been fascinated with) but Hematite helps to entrain us back to our natural Dominant Oscillary Rate (DOR) which makes it a great grounding tool to balance the Root Chakra.
I feel less dizzy and more calm and balanced when I use Hematite.

Juicy January/Monthly Focus/Tarot/Crystals

Every month I want to post my monthly focus here, so I can have a reference and perhaps inspire others on their journey. January is a bit late. That is how it goes sometimes.

Every year I do a yearly Tarot & Oracle card forecast. This time I decided to mix several decks into the reading and really dive deep into the monthly work. I purchased my first Tarot deck back in the 90's called The Spirit of Herbs by Candis Cantin & Michael Tierra. Little did I know that the authors would be some of many of my herbal teachers along my Herbal Journey.

Juicy January: Herbal Tarot
Cayenne V111 Strength

"By using the strength of love the woman is able to push over the blockages and resistances she encounters within herself and within her life. Her internal fires and the healing heart energy are her tools."

It has been a very long journey these past several years with surgeries and loss. This card is so perfect for me right now.

Red Cloak- Fiery energy and spirit. I decided to change my bedspread to red & black, burn red candles and was guided to work with Almandine Garnet & I always work with Rose Quartz. Garnet is a great grounding tool and supports the root chakra. Brings a sense of security and strength. It is an Iron Silicate which helps with the liver and blood. So what I need.  The liver holds anger, regulates hormones and is our power house of detoxification. Rose Quartz so gentle & loving. It makes me feel safe, loved & supported. Helps with the Heart Chakra. Opens one up to self-love and all other forms of Love.

Her hat symbolizes the infinity symbol, the figure 8. With the help from the infinite, it will help with manifesting clear and creative ideas. Moving and Breathing into the eternal spin of the earth. One way to get into this spin frequency is to Hoop and Poi. Moving your body in this space can open you wide open. Something that I have discovered on my healing journey. Yet, another story to be told.

I was guided to drink the Master Cleanse Tea. I'm not doing the cleanse, just drinking the lemon drink. I used to do this cleanse a couple of times a year when I was younger. Now, I just incorporate the drink throughout the year. You can find out more about it here http://themastercleanse.org  Lemon, Water, Maple Syrup and Cayenne. I've been drinking this hot and drinking lots of Lemon water through out the day. A great way to clear up stagnation and cleanse the liver and helps with digestion. Everything I need while traversing this Menopausal road. I also use sliced lemons in my bath & foot baths with epsom salt, seaweed and herbs.

Incense this month is:
Dragon's Blood. A powerful protector and adds potency to what you are manifesting. Great to use for grounding work and root chakra healing. There are many species of Dragon's Blood the one I'm holding is from the endangered (which I learned about later) Dracaena Cinnabari tree and not to be confused with Dracaena draco, the sap is bright red and looks like blood. The smell is intoxicating and sexy.

My Affirmation for the month:
"I affirm the strength of my heart. My Power is one with Divine Spirit."

Meditation for the month:
I really love Elizabeth Harper's work from Sealed with Love.

I hope these nuggets of love have inspired you to do your own healing work or add some other items to your magickal self-care tool box.
