Blue and Healthy: Blue Butterfly Pea Tea

I'm so excited about this tea. I'm always looking for unusual plants that are edible and lately I've been obsessed with Purple, Indigo and Blue Botanicals and this one definitely fits the bill.

The shape of the flower has inspired her numerous names like Blue Butterfly Pea and the Latin name Clitoria Ternatea. Let your mind wonder.

The color is so intense and lovely, that with every sip I feel nourished. She has a very mild and subtle flavor that mixes well with other black, green or any fruit teas.

Directions

2 cups boiling water
12 Butterfly Pea (dried) flowers
Honey to taste- about 1 teaspoon.

I like my tea strong so I leave the flowers in the steeped water.

If you look closely you can see my crystal at the bottom of the glass. I used an Arkansas Clear Quartz Crystal to charge and imbue this amazing Botanical with the energetic frequency of the Crystal. By doing this we receive the benefits and integrate the Botanical, Crystal and Color into our bodies on a cellular and vibrational level.

A Few Benefits:

  • Antioxidant
  • Improves eye sight & night vision
  • Improves immune system
  • Strengths the hair

  • This color can assist us in accessing our intuitive abilities and opening the 3rd Eye.                                                     I like to hold my heart shaped Azurite while drinking my Blue Butterfly Pea Tea for an added punch of the Blue Ray frequency.
